Leeds United vs Man United’s match started with full attacking forces.
Fernandes has a shot, an attempted dink that doesn’t clear Meslier. He is up for it. Meanwhile Rashford is fouled by McKennie, who becomes the third name in the book.
Man United need to get the ball out to Sancho more often. Firpo is on a booking and was reluctant to engage him there. Sancho’s play to fashion that chance for Fernandes was flawless and he clearly has the legs on him.

It has been a scrappy first 20 minutes or so, not lacking in blood and thunder. United could do with taking the emotion out of the game (if that is at all possible). It is quieter – for now.
Superb from Meslier to stop Fernandes, who intercepted a Wober pass and charged towards the Leeds box. Meslier stood his ground well and forced his effort wide.
The Italian was completley taken out by Sabitzer. The referee has blown for a foul but the Red Devils midfielder has somehow escaped a booking. Gnonto will carry on.
Leeds Utd were a well-drilled, high-intensity team under Jesse Marsch, despite failing to win matches, and the manner in which they have started this game has been impressive.
Wober gets a ball into the box, De Gea pushes it out centrally for the arriving Summerville to hit. The goal opened up there but he couldn’t hit the target.
