West Ham vs Chelsea’s match started with full attacking forces.
Chelsea set about playing their way out from the back. Coufal puts a stop to their fancy notions by agriculturally clipping Cucurella to the floor. Not sure how he’s avoided a booking there, but that’s what he’s done.
Chelsea win a free-kick after Felix is bundled over by Soucek.
He takes the free-kick and forces Fabianski into another sprawling save – he really has been at the heart of everything Chelsea have done this half.
Felix takes the resulting corner and Badiashile heads over from six yards – the defender should have done better there.
First half has probably been Chelsea’s best half in a while. Graham Potter will be pleased with the way his team have played but disappointed with the way they have let West Ham back into it.
From West Ham’s point of view, they will just be pleased to go in level.
Felix curls towards the bottom right. Another strong Fabianski arm denies him.
The ball goes out for a corner, from which Badiashile heads harmlessly over from a very decent central position. Chelsea could quite easily have four or five goals already, but here we are.
Good play from Chelsea and Madueke cuts in on his left foot and forces Fabianski into a good save as he sprawls away to his right.
The former PSV winger was slightly culpable for Emerson’s goal along with James but he’s looked good going forward.
Benrahma is then bearing down on goal at the other end after a Silva mistake but the Brazilian puts in a superb block.
The Blues then break and have four-on-three but Mudryk plays a poor pass and West Ham clear.
