Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest‘s match s tarted with full attacking forces.
Willy Boly goes close after getting on the end of an outswinging corner but Declan Rice is marking him tightly and gets enough of his body in the way to help take the pace off the downward header. The ball hits Rice’s arm but it was not in an “unnatural position”.

He will be thinking that as he comes off for summer signing Anthony Elanga.
Meanwhile there’s a yellow card for Mangala for a pull on Odegaard and Arsenal try to take a free-kick quickly but Michael Oliver pulls play back.
Declan Rice is teed up for a shot from a few yards outside the penalty area and his low drive takes a nick off the heel of Joe Worrall.
It’s headed for the bottom corner but Matt Turner gets down to save superbly, touching the ball on to the foot of the post.
It’s two new signings linking up as Havertz finds Rice who lets loose from outside the box and forces Turner into an excellent save as the former West Ham star’s shot is forced off the post and out for a corner.
The resulting corner is dangerous too as it bounces through a few bodies with Saliba getting a tough but not enough to challenge Ryan.
There’s a bit more height on this one and Ramsdale goes for it but gets nowhere near it as he is under pressure but luckily for him the ball avoids everyone and Arsenal’s clean sheet is still on.
Meanwhile Neco Williams and Taiwo Awoniyi are on for Forest to replace Aina and Danilo.
